2025, MaryEmpowers collaborated with SWIS Africa to introduce Beyond the Books, an insightful guide by Mary Obiechina designed to assist graduate students in transitioning from academia to the workplace or industry.
The event was rich with meaningful discussions and learning opportunities. Dr. Samantha Pauls conducted a career workshop offering practical strategies for career navigation. The career panel featured voices such as Dr. Anju Bajaj, Dr. Reuben Saba, and Dr. Ifeoma Okwor, who shared their experiences and insights. Samuel Ogunsola, Co-Founder of SWIS Africa and a contributor to the book, added warmth and energy as the Master of Ceremony.
