SWIS Awards 2025

The SWIS Africa End-of-Year Award Ceremony is an annual event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of African women in STEM across Manitoba including students, researchers, and professionals.

This year’s event will also include the presentation of the 2025 SWIS Africa End-of-Year Report, highlighting the organization’s programs, impact, and partnerships throughout the year. The ceremony will feature:

• A keynote speech from a distinguished woman in STEM;

• An awards presentation across six categories;

• A panel discussion on career development and diversity in STEM; and

• A networking session connecting students, alumni, and professionals.
