SWIS POP-UP Labs Abuja Nigeria

An introduction to data science and how it shows up in everyday life, how to read data, spot patterns, and use it to make better decisions in your own world. This Pop-Up Lab continues SWIS Hub's Classroom on the Move series in Abuja, bringing a hands-on introduction to data science directly to young women in STEM. Over two full days, participants will move beyond the buzzwords and get a real feel for what data science actually is, how it works, and why it matters far beyond the tech industry. The workshop is built around the idea that data literacy is quickly becoming a foundational skill, much like reading or writing, and that every young woman deserves the chance to build that skill early and with confidence, and see how it plays out in things as ordinary as budgeting, health choices, or understanding the news.
